Oversaw all POS systems within BYU Dining, including:
Promoted within months to the team managing BYU Dining's "Dining Management System", which automates processes relating to every aspect of BYU Dining's operations like inventory management, procurement, menu planning, nutrition, and accounting.
As a volunteer representative, or missionary, I volunteered as a representative for my church in Antigua, Guatemala. All day, every day, we were tasked with sharing our message with all who would listen. Along with this, I spent 6 month tasked with the oversight of various administrative responsibilities inside of our mission office. These responsibilities included paying rent and other bills for over 60 appartments, keeping track of over 120 cell phones and 60 phone lines, and any other responsibilities assigned to me by my supervisors.
In this position, I specialized in the repair of Mac computers produced by apple. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider, I was tasked with following their strict repair protocols and procedures, and was certified in the repair of all apple products up until the time I left the company.
Although this was a seasonal job just out of high school, I learned a lot of different skills and abilities in this position. As a coach for little kids, I had to learn how to communicate with people who almost couldn't communicate themselves, I learned how best to teach them and reward them for following my instructions. This can be applied to just about any managerial or team position you could find.
GPA: 3.55
GPA: 3.92, Graduated 1 year early
Along with being a student, I have many interests and hobbies. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming (just not competitively anymore), and spending time with family.
I also really enjoy travelling, and when time and money permits you can find me exploring new places and experiencing new things. Some of my favorite places to visit are my old mission areas in Guatemala, as well as the many national parks here in Utah.
